Send text from comments to wordprocessor

Dear sir,

I got an Excel file with a lot of comments in columns.
Is it possible to loop through each column and copy the text of every comment per column e.g. in one Wordpad file?
I hope you can help me out.

hy pierre,
hope my englisch is good enough for ya to understand me.
what do ya mean by comments ? is that file a kind of database ?
e.g. theres a column (B) that means comments and there are datas in the following rows ?
Or do ya mean real comments (- thats a special thing in excel in the german version!)
What in fact do ya wanna get to wordpad ?
I know lots of questions and you are waiting fpr any answers - but sorry - i dont really know what y are looking for

hello pierre,
please, test it. it will find all comments in the active sheet and output them in c:\commentfile.txt. you can open it with wordpad or other programs, but in notepad yo'll see character 10 as a quader (for linefeed).

Dear Andreas,

my question is about lot of cell comments in every column of an Excel 2000 file. Cell comments are indicated by a red upper corner of the respective cell and can contain a certain amount of text. You can copy this one by one in your wordprocessor but this is a very tedious job.
There should be a way to let Excel do this work and and copy the text of every cellcomment in one Word, Wordpad or Notepad file.
I hope there is someone who has done this already.

sorry, but for today its time for me to leave now.
But i gonna discuss your problem tomorrow with another guy that works with an englisch version of excel.
hope we gonna get ya a helping hand tomorrow morning !
If your file doesnt connect any sensible datas - send it by mail to me with a little comment and we gonna try to find out how to handle it.
